Cardiologists

A Cardiologist is a medical professional who treats heart disorders, high blood pressure, heart failure, abnormalities with your heart valves and blood arteries, as well as other cardiac and vascular conditions. 

Audiologist

  • An audiologist is a doctor who examines individuals with hearing imbalance, or other ear issues. An audiologist evaluates the examination results and makes diagnoses. He or she helps people with tinnitus and other hearing issues. 

Dentist

  • A professional person who is trained in the care, treatment, and repair of the teeth and the fitting of artificial teeth

Otolaryngologists are more commonly referred to as ENTs, or ear/nose/throat doctors.
 
ENT Specialists specialize in treating disorders and other issues related to the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck. They’ve been educated to treat problems with the upper pharynx and oral cavity, the voice box (larynx), the ears, the nose, and nasal tube, and the neck. 

Dermatologist

Endocrinologist

Endocrinologists treat the endocrine system—the glands that produce and secrete hormones that control and regulate nearly all of the body’s functions. People with diabetes or thyroid disease are often treated by an endocrinologist

Hematologist

These are specialists in diseases of the blood disorder

Nephrologist

Nephrologists treat kidney diseases as well as high blood pressure and fluid and mineral imbalances linked to kidney disease.

Neurologists

Neurologists are doctors who take care of patients with medical conditions that affect the brain, spine, or nerves.

 

Neurologists also take care of patients who have common problems such as migraine headaches and dizziness.

Obstetrician

A gynecologist is a doctor who specializes in female reproductive health, including menopause and hormone problems.
 
An obstetrician provides care for people who are pregnant. Obstetricians also are trained to deliver babies.

Oncologist 

Oncologists take care of patients who have cancer by treating the disease itself, as well as the symptoms it causes.

These internists are cancer specialists. They do chemotherapy treatments and often work with radiation oncologists and surgeons to care for someone with cancer.

Ophthalmologists 

Ophthalmologists, You call them eye doctors. Vision correction that cannot be handled by an optometrist may be treated by an ophthalmologist.

Orthopedist 

An orthopedist or orthopedic surgeon is a doctor who specializes in conditions of the musculoskeletal system, including the bones, muscles, joints, and connective tissues.

 

These physicians see patients with injuries such as sprains, joint injuries, and broken bones.

Pediatricians 

They care for children from birth to young adulthood (age 18 or, in some cases, age 21). Some pediatricians specialize in pre-teens and teens, child abuse, or children’s developmental issues.

Pediatricians provide primary health care to children, including vaccinations, general health checkups, school physicals, and treatment of issues like coughs, colds, and stomach flu.

Physiatrists 

These specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation treat neck or back pain and sports or spinal cord injuries as well as other disabilities caused by accidents or diseases

Psychiatrists 

These doctors work with people with mental, emotional, or addictive disorders. They can diagnose and treat depression, schizophrenia, substance abuse, anxiety disorders, and sexual and gender identity issues. Some psychiatrists focus on children, adolescents, or the elderly.

Radiologists 

They use X-rays, ultrasound, and other imaging tests to diagnose diseases. They can also specialize in radiation oncology to treat conditions like cancer.

General Surgeons 

General Surgeons the doctors who can operate on all parts of your body. They can take out tumors, appendices, or gallbladders and repair hernias. Many surgeons have subspecialties, like cancer, hand, or vascular surgery.
